How Shading and Slope Affect Frost

Even when the majority of the field is warm and sunny frost pockets can form and harm delicate plants. It is amazing how a patch of shade at the lowest spot in the field can trap the freezing temperatures. If I had my garden here it would have been toast. Hopefully this short video will help you find the trouble spots on your property so you can plant in the best spot.
